Sôi kinh nấu sử

Chỉ sự chuyên tâm, miệt mài học hành, đọc đi đọc lại sách vở đến mức như đem kinh sử ra “nấu”, “sôi”. Thường dùng để nói người khổ công đèn sách, nhất là để chuẩn bị cho việc thi cử.

Describes studying with extreme diligence and persistence, as if one were boiling and cooking the classical books over and over. It is used for someone laboring hard over learning, especially in preparation for examinations.
